If you live, work or spend time near St Kilda, we would love to explore how you could support your local beach community and connect with the club.
Many qualified lifesavers already have strong and valued connections with their current clubs, and we absolutely respect that.
This pathway is not about replacing those connections, it’s about offering another way to stay involved in the broader lifesaving and beach community. It creates opportunities for people who also want to connect with St Kilda Life Saving Club through patrol support, mentoring, training support, events, social activities, or wider community involvement.
The level of involvement is flexible and can suit your availability and interest. You might contribute regularly throughout the season, step in occasionally when it suits you, support in a seasonal capacity, or bring specific skills in a more specialist role. Every contribution, in whatever form it takes, is greatly valued and is a great way to meet good people, share your experience, and stay connected to your local community.
