Join the Club

St. Kilda Lifesaving Club is your chance to join a community focused on water safety, fitness, and giving back.

Our club goes beyond beach patrols – it’s about building skills, staying active, and making lifelong friends. Whether you want to try lifesaving, get your kids involved, or connect with the community, there’s a place for you here.

Plus, with reduced membership costs this year, it’s more affordable than ever to join. Don’t miss this incredible opportunity!

Ways to get involved

As a Patroller

Train in lifesaving skills like CPR, first aid, and water rescue, and join our team of patrollers dedicated to keeping our beach safe.

As an Age Group Manager

Parents can get involved by leading and supporting kids in the Nippers program, helping them build skills and a love for the ocean.

Prerequisites

All adult members must hold a Working With Children Check
To ensure a safe environment for all, adult memberships cannot be processed without a Working With Children Check (WWCC). If you’re over 18 and would like to patrol or participate as an Age Group Manager, you must hold a valid WWCC. It’s quick, free and easy to apply online – taking only about 15 minutes to complete.

Patrolling memberships

Nippers is a family-first membership! Kids cannot enrol individually; they must join as part of a family membership. This option lets the whole family get involved in club events, access facilities, and enjoy discounted function room hire.
