Don’t miss this incredible opportunity

Ways to get involved

As a Patroller

As an Age Group Manager

Gain life saving awards skills like CPR, first aid, and water rescue, and join our team of volunteer patrollers dedicated to protecting our community and keeping our iconic St. Kilda beach safe.

Parents can get involved by leading and supporting children in the Nippers program, helping them build skills and a love for the ocean.

Prerequisites

All adult members must hold a Working With Children Check

To ensure a safe environment for all, adult memberships cannot be processed without a Working With Children Check (WWCC). If you’re over 18 and would like to patrol or participate as an Age Group Manager, you must hold a valid WWCC.

It’s quick, free and easy to apply online – taking only about 15 minutes to complete.
