St Kilda LSC has 3 various Active Patrolling Memberships

With information provided on each of the three Active Patrolling Memberships, learn more about each role and what it entails.
All three roles have some variants and differences to each other, but still attend patrols.

Bronze Medallion Membership

The Bronze Medallion is one of the most taught courses at St Kilda LSC; with typical courses running two times in the lifesaving season. This award is open to those 15 years and above.

Fees:
‣ Adult (18 years & older) - $90
‣ Student (15 to 18 years old) - $55
‣ Senior (Over 60 years old) - $55

Club Benefits:
‣ Access to the 'Members Only' areas including members gym between 4AM and 11PM daily
‣ Have voting rights
‣ Access to the upstairs space when no event, function or operation is undergoing
‣ Receive the benefits of Associate - Social Membership
‣ Opportunity to hire the function space at a discounted member rate

Obligations:
‣ Abide by the Club's Code of Conduct at all times
‣ Participate in at least 4 patrol shifts.
— One patrol must be a public holiday
‣ Maintain proficiency of the award being held including Annual Requalification

Award Membership


‣ For members who do not hold the Bronze Medallion or Surf Rescue Certificate.
‣ Award Membership covers awards such as:
— First Aid Officer
— Radio Operator


Fees:
‣ Adult (18 years & older) - $90
‣ Student (15 to 18 years old) - $55
‣ Senior (Over 60 years old) - $55

Club Benefits:
‣ Access to the 'Members Only' areas including members gym between 4AM and 11PM daily
‣ Have voting rights

Cadet / SRC Membership


‣ Suitable for those between 13 to 15 years old.
‣ Anyone can undergo the Surf Rescue Certificate

‣ Cadet (13 to 15 years old) - $55
‣ Adult (18 years & older) (Surf Rescue Certificate Holder) - $90

Benefits:
‣ Access to the 'Members Only' areas including members gym between 4AM and 11PM daily
‣ Have voting rights
‣ Access to the upstairs space when no event, function or operation is undergoing
‣ Receive the benefits of Associate - Social Membership
‣ Opportunity to hire the function space at a discounted member rate

Club Members can deposit and purchase extra items which are displayed below.

Extras:
‣ FOB Access (Recommended) - $30 deposit
— Deposit returned once FOB has been surrended
‣ Locker hire - $30
‣ Gear Storate - Negotiated on Applicatication
